Abstract

The density and viscosity of binary mixtures of ethyl-2-methylbutyrate and ethyl hexanoate with methanol, ethanol, and 1-propanol over the whole composition range have been measured at three different temperatures (293.15, 303.15, and 313.15) K and atmospheric pressure. A Redlich-Kister-type polynomial equation was fitted to the calculated excess molar volumes and viscosity deviations. © 2005 American Chemical Society.
