Abstract

The density and viscosity of binary mixtures czs-3-hexenyl formate (1) + ethanol (2), butyl acetate (1) + ethanol (2), trans-2-hexenyl acetate (1) + ethanol (2), and cis-3-hexenyl acetate (1) + ethanol (2) over the whole range of composition have been measured at three different temperatures (293.15 K, 303.15 K, and 313.15 K). The excess molar volume and viscosity deviation of these systems were also calculated, and the results were fitted to a well-known Redlich-Kister-type polynomial equation. © 2005 American Chemical Society.
