Rolling uphill experiment is one of fascinating experiments that easily attracts students' attention due to its contradictory with common sense. Although it has been explained qualitatively, explicit explanation of the phenomenon is hardly found. In this study the researchers will describe the detail setting of the experiment and quantitatively set the formula to ascribe the relationship amongst the involved variables which allow the rolling uphill happens. It turns out that the relationship among the involved variabloes is a simple one and can be easily understood. © Content from this work may be used under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 licence
